When I started my business, I worked long hours and earned little money, but my drive was unstoppable. Energy attracts clients, talent, and opportunities.

People prefer buying from someone who loves what they do over someone just in it for the money.

Passion creates sustainability, while those driven by money burn out. 

A friend of mine kept complaining about his job he told me that he wanted a pay raise, convinced that more money would make him happier. He got the raise! Three months later, he was complaining again. Another three months passed, and he quit.

What he thought he wanted, he got. But what he truly needed was something else. He believed that if he earned more, he’d be happy.

The truth? No amount of money can make you love something you’re not passionate about it just prolongs the time you spend doing what you don’t enjoy, making you miserable.

When you focus on what excites you, it unleashes energy and when that energy is flowing, everything becomes possible. 

Remember how you felt when you first started there was excitement, passion, and energy that people could see and feel. 

So, what happened? You got caught up in obligations and survival mode, forgetting that thriving is a choice.

Just as for architects a Time-Consuming & Labour-Intensive work like measured building surveys require long hours on-site and extensive post-processing (CAD drafting, 3D modeling) and it is wasted or dead time.

But as-built plans are what they must have to enable them to do what they absolutely love Design, Creative Problem-Solving, Concept Development, and Sustainability & Innovation.

How much of your week is spent on things that don't light you up but are a must?

And when you're doing them, how does it affect your energy? Do you feel your cup being filled, or does it drain you?

This is a long term strategy for success in business.
